We actually have a rule in place for that because it was such an issue! Most of the time it stays on their desk and when they return the next day, their make up work is there when they have the time to do it. We spend a lot of time on routine and responsibility and it seems to help. We honestly have never had one not come back but can certainly see how that could happen. Paperclippin' might be the way to go. You could also draft up a lil note that you have on hand that states your expectations and attach it to the papers. On the not could also be a little incentive for them so they bring it back as well. <br />Hope that helped :)Fluttering Through First Gradehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15790958241074164971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640884830731263966.post-831120776373179772012-07-13T19:13:13.202-07:002012-07-13T19:13:13.202-07:00Great idea-so if you send it home, how do you make...Great idea-so if you send it home, how do you make sure it comes back? I wrote Absent Folder on several file folders and laminated them. When a student is absent, I put it on their desk and their group members keep track of putting sheets inside it. I also have them write down what we do in each subject and that days homework.Lanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13442080202750833535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640884830731263966.post-60797361891839237722012-07-13T16:56:02.354-07:002012-07-13T16:56:02.354-07:00We love those "Duh Moments" and have the...We love those "Duh Moments" and have them frequently.
